National City Eye Exams

An annual eye exam should be on everybody’s to-do list regardless if you have perfect vision or if you need glasses. How often should you get your eyes checked? This depends on how old you are, your risk factors, and whether or not you already wear glasses or contacts.

Generally speaking, adults who don’t have a history of eye problems and who do not have any other health issues should have their eyes checked once every one or two years. For people who have issues with their sense of sight or any other health issues unrelated to your eyes, you should see an eye doctor at least once every 6 to 12 months. National City Eye Exams are here to help. Our examinations are thorough and a typical exam doesn’t take very long: only about 30 to 40 minutes. There’s no reason to procrastinate, make an appointment today!

Our services include:

  • considerate care especially for children and the elderly,
  • same day appointments for red or irritated eyes,
  • same day contact lenses,
  • custom fitting of contact lenses, glass, and prescription sunglasses,
  • treatment of irritated, dry, or “burning” eyes,
  • diagnosis of ocular diseases
  • surgery co-management for refractive laser surgery, catarac surgery, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma patients, and
  • a written report for referring physicians.
